The Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) is an official document from the Employment Agency or the Jobcenter that covers the costs of a professional training course.
The costs of the AZAV-accredited course are covered as part of the funding. Your personal contact at the Employment Agency or Jobcenter decides on approval.

The Bildungsgutschein covers the full course costs of the approved measure.
Once the training is approved, the costs are fully covered by the Employment Agency or Jobcenter.
Billing runs directly via the funding body – you make no advance payment.
The voucher is a subsidy, not a loan. After successful completion you receive a recognised provider certificate.

Anyone who is job-seeking, changing career direction or returning to work and registered with the Employment Agency or Jobcenter.
Funding may also apply with a fixed-term contract or after notice of termination – ask your contact about it.
The training should improve your prospects on the labour market or enable a career reorientation.
A previously funded measure must generally be at least two years in the past before funding is granted again.
