Future-proof skills
Artificial intelligence, automation and social media are among the most sought-after skills on the labour market.
[ For placement officers ]
As an AZAV-accredited training provider we are committed to equal opportunity – with digital training that opens up equal educational and career prospects for people from all walks of life and prepares them for the working world of tomorrow. We seek a close, trusting partnership with the employment agency to achieve lasting placement success together.
100 % synchronous measures. Accredited strictly in line with the advisory board's recommendations.
[ Measures at a glance ]
Seven AZAV-accredited training measures – with measure number, teaching scope and duration for quick review.
All measures run 100% online, part- and full-time.
[ Why our training ]
In a working world reshaped by digitalisation, automation and new forms of collaboration, our measures build the competencies that are in demand – and the ability to apply them in practice.
Artificial intelligence, automation and social media are among the most sought-after skills on the labour market.
Whether a trade business, a start-up or a haulage firm – the content transfers to a wide range of industries and roles.
Our participants develop genuine problem-solving skills, strengthen their communication and learn hands-on for everyday work.
[ Who it is for ]
Our training is so varied that even people without prior experience can gain a sought-after qualification. Experience in the digital field – in media, marketing or project organisation – is helpful, but not a must: we teach the essentials step by step.
You don't need any prior knowledge to get started. What counts is interest and motivation – we teach the tools for digital processes, media and modern collaboration step by step. Experience, for instance in media, marketing or project organisation, is a plus, not a must.
Job seekers, people returning to work, older job seekers and those at risk of unemployment develop new perspectives with us – prior knowledge is not a requirement.
Before a measure begins we hold an aptitude interview in which we jointly assess whether it fits the current life and career situation – on equal terms, individually and solution-oriented.
Chances through substance, not labels
Anyone ready to learn and develop is in the right place with us – regardless of their background. We believe career opportunities arise through knowledge, attitude and practice – not through labels.
[ what comes next ]
After completion, our participants are equipped to take on future-relevant roles.
More and more companies are building their own recruiting and digitalisation teams – the skills shortage is forcing a rethink. Over the next five to ten years, social recruiting and process digitalisation will become standard in almost every industry.
[ how it works ]
Clearly guided from the start – not an anonymous online course, but live teaching with dedicated experts by your side.
Before you start, we check together whether the programme fits your current life and work situation – at eye level, individual and solution-oriented.
Fixed weekly live sessions in the virtual learning room – synchronous, interactive and with a direct line to the instructors. 100 % online and location-independent.
Dedicated contacts guide you live in the virtual learning room – via video call and chat, plus a learning community with a real sense of togetherness despite the distance.
A recognised provider certificate, plus application training and support with your next career step.
[ our expert team ]
Entrepreneurs, digital experts and industry insiders – they bring what really counts in day-to-day work, and pass it on.

[ Our mission statement ]
The foundations of our work as an accredited provider – reviewed annually by management as part of the continuous improvement process.
The Akademie des deutschen Mittelstandes was founded to offer high-quality further training tailored to the needs of the German Mittelstand. Our target group comprises job-seeking women and men as well as employees who want to broaden their skills or reorient professionally. We support them in developing their abilities and improving their chances of lasting employment.
In the long term the academy aims to become a central point of contact for professional further training and personnel development. In view of demographic change and the growing demand for skilled workers, we want to make a decisive contribution to securing the future of the German Mittelstand – combining innovative teaching methods, digital learning formats and hands-on training.
Our mission is to enable and inspire people. We rely on partnership and respectful cooperation with participants and staff. Personal development and career prospects are at the centre of what we do; we support participants with individual guidance in an open, appreciative environment. Our staff are not only experts but also mentors.
Our central concern is to integrate participants into the labour market after successful completion – whether through job placement, professional reorientation or the promotion of entrepreneurial skills. By bringing them closer to the labour market and providing targeted qualification, we help them realise their potential.
Our offering comprises further training from Field 4 (Fachbereich 4) of the AZAV. Our practice-oriented programmes are tailored to the requirements of the Mittelstand and strengthen both professional and personal competencies.
In future we aim to expand our offering to further fields – Fields 1, 2 and 3. In view of demographic change and the growing demand for skilled workers, we see it as our responsibility to help a broad diversity of people bring their potential into the labour market.
The monitoring and ongoing development of our mission statement are a given. Each year the statement is reviewed by management as part of the management review and adjusted to current developments – a continuous improvement process.
